发明名称 SNUBBER ENERGY REGENERATION TYPE PARTIAL RESONANCE CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the turn off loss of a main switching element by reducing the turn off loss of a self-arc-extinguishing element with a partial resonance circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a GTO 1U is turned on, a snubber capacitor(SC) 4U is charged. Moreover, when an auxiliary switch(AS) 6U is turned on, the charge of SC4U is discharged by the course of AS6U, a reactor(LA) 5U, and SC4U. And, when the charge of SC4U shifts to LA5U, it returns by the course of AS6U, LA5U, a diode(DD) 2U, and DD3U. When AS6U is turned off, the snubber energy accumulated in LA5U is regenerated on power source side by the course of DD7X, LA5U, and DD2U. This way, the turn off loss of GTO1U and 1X can be reduced by reducing the current of GTO1U and 1X at turn off. Moreover, the snubber load can be reduced by regenerating the surplus amount left last of the snubber energy made use for the reduction of turn off loss, in the main circuit.
