PURPOSE:To make it compatible to prevent the occurrence of curls and wrinkles of a recording material and to attain good fixation by varying a control temperature while detecting an interval between image forming operations. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a print signal is received by an engine part, the surface temperature T of a heating roller is kept to be a temperature T2 until the recording material is completely ejected from a thermal fixing device, and the surface temperature T of the heating roller is controlled to be the temperature T1 again after the recording material is ejected. Thereafter, the following VSYNC is received, in the case a VSYNC interval (a time counted by a timer (b)) (t1) is shorter than a 1st time (t1) and a passing time (ta) counted by a timer (a) is shorter than a 3rd set time (t3), the surface temperature T of the heating roller is controlled to be the temperature T2. In the case where the passing time (ta) is longer than the set time (t3), the surface temperature T of the heating roller is controlled to be the temperature T3 which is lower than the temperature T2. Meanwhile, in the case the VSYNC interval (tb) is longer than the 1st set time (t1), the surface temperature T of the heating roller is controlled to be the lowest temperature T4. |
