PURPOSE:To always maintain liquid in a constant state and to properly remove printing material on a recording medium by detecting the state of the liquid with a detecting means and controlling the liquid corresponding to detecting result with a control means. CONSTITUTION:Through the function of the CPU, if the cleaning,liquid quantity detected according to the signal from the sensor S3 is less than the reference quantity, the cleaning liquid is replenished from the tank 30. Then, if the water content contained in the cleaning liquid 10 detected corresponding to the signal from the sensor S4 is less than the reference quantity, the water is replenished from the tank 31. Furthermore, through the CPU, the removing efficiency of the printing material is calculated from the density difference between the density of the recording medium 100 before induced in the cleaner 3 and the density of the recording medium 100 after discharged from the cleaner 3, and if the removing efficiency is less than the reference value, the original liquid of the cleaning liquid 10 is replenished from the tank 32. Lastly, through the CPU, when the above abnormal state is detected, each abnormal state is displayed on the display element 6 for informing the user. |
