PURPOSE:To assembly the sealing device with a bonding process eliminated by fixing a housing to a sealing body, and thereby forming a sealing main body. CONSTITUTION:A sealing main body 11 is formed out of a sealing body 3, and a housing 12 which comprises an elastic body fixed at a portion opposite to a hold place for magnetic fluid in the sealing body 3 by integral molding or the deposition of a part of a molding elastic body. The sealing main body 11 is then is set in a hermetic condition by the elasticity of the housing 12 with respect to a motor hub 9. By this constitution, a bonding process for the sealing bode 3 and the housing 12 can thereby be eliminated. Besides, a space between the sealing main body 11 and the motor hub 9 can be hermeticaly sealed with a bonding process eliminated. Therefore, when the sealing main body 11 is formed, and when the sealing main body 11 is incorporated in the motor hub 9 and the like, the bonding process can be eliminated in an assembling process. |
