ELECTRIC ENERGY MEASURING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide an electric energy measuring device by which electric energy consumed by a firm load can be measured at a low cost even from a remote place. CONSTITUTION:A load current detected by an electric current detecting part 9 is converted into DC voltage having an effective value in a next stage effective value converting part 10. This DC voltage output is inputted to a voltage- frequency converting part 12, and is converted into a pulse signal having a frequency in proportion to the voltage level. As for an output pulse signal of the voltage-frequency converting part 12, pulses are counted in a next stage counter part 13. A pulse signal having a constant pulse width is generated and outputted in a next stage pulse generating part 14 at rise time of an output pulse of the counter part 13. Since load voltage can be regarded as almost constant, electric energy can be measured by multiplying a pulse interval between pulse signals of the pulse generating part 14 and a coefficient corresponding to time in an electric energy converting part 15.
