PURPOSE:To improve the speed of response and positional accuracy and, at the same time, to prevent hunting by using a constitution using an ordinary speed/position detector. CONSTITUTION:In an AC servo motor control device provided with a speed/ position detector 5 which detects the rotational position of the rotor of an AC servo motor 4 and is constituted to control an AC servo motor 4 by feeding back the position of the rotor detected by means of the detector 5 so as to eliminate the difference between the detected position and a commanded position, the electrical phase angle between the magnetic pole position of the rotor and the magnetic pole position of a stator generated when the winding of the stator is energized is variably controlled. The electrical phase angle is controlled to zero when the difference between the detected position and commanded position is zero or its vicinity and to 90 deg. when the difference is the other value. |
