PURPOSE:To form a color filter with excellent flatness on a glass base. CONSTITUTION:A method of manufacturing the color filter of a color liquid crystal panel includes a process of forming untransmissive black masks 14 at the specified parts on a transparent insulating base 1, a process of forming a first photo-setting resin layer 12, corresponding to one color among three colors that are red, green and blue, on the whole upper face of the black masks 14 and the transparent insulating base 1, a process of forming a first colored layer 12a almost equal in film thickness to the black mask 14 by performing the back face exposure and development of the specified parts of the first photo-setting resin layer 12 while controlling the exposure quantity, and a process of forming a second colored layer 12b and a third colored layer 12c in the same forming method as the first colored layer respectively in regular succession at the specified places of the transparent insulating base 1. |
