发明名称 METHOD FOR LIGHTING INVERTER OF LIGHTING DISCHARGE LAMP
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To extend the length of a discharge tube more than that of a conven tional tube, save input electric power, and improve the power factor of a trans former for lighting an inverter type discharge tube; wherein the lighting of the tube with the extended length can be done within the same rated output voltage (effective value). CONSTITUTION:The input from a commercial electric power supply is full-wave- rectified by a rectifier D. A capacitor C is a smoothing capacitor and has a low capacity. The rectified output is sent to an oscillation circuit. The oscillation circuit is set to be in the state that an output is sent only at the time the voltage of the electric power supply is a specified level or higher. The higher value of the voltage waveform of a transformer for lighting an inverter type discharge lamp becomes high as compared with that of a conventional transformer and the lighting length of a neon tube can be extended and due to the low capacity of the capacitor C, electric power consumption is lowered and power factor is improved. A hundred percent amplitude modulation with rectangular waveform at 1:1 duty ratio is done for output high frequency voltage of an inverter and enveloped line waveform of the voltage.</p>
