Novel compounds of formula (wherein A is H or OH and n is 0-10) are prepared by condensing the corresponding 21- ols with a compound of formula #<SP>11</SP> - Ethoxy - #<SP>1</SP> - ethoxy - # - ethoxyethyl chloroformate is prepared by reacting carbonyl chloride with triethyleneglycol monoethyl ether. Antiinflammatory compositions for topical, parenteral and rectal administration comprise a compound of Formula I and a suitable vehicle.
