<p>An arrangement for gathering fleas from fur with a comb (112) and wiping the fleas and loosened fur from the comb (112) so as to deposit them into a closeable container (101) for disposal. The container (101) has a rear end cap (102) in which moth balls may be mounted so that fumes fill the container (101). The front end cap (103) has a shaped opening (116) keyed to the shape of comb spline (113) to assist in guiding the comb (112) to wipers. The wipers are opposing blades (105) urged together but allow the comb (112) to be inserted between the blades (105), lifted through the blades (105) to remove the accumulated fleas and fur in a position to be deposited into the container (101). A cover (117) may be placed over the front end cap (103) to allow the vapors from the moth balls to act on the fleas.</p> |
