It is known to attach a pneumatically actuable elastomer hollow profile, on which a flow-deflecting limb is formed, to that side of the shell of a fairing part which faces the flow, it being possible for the flow-deflecting limb to pivot into a swung-out or swung-in position by the hollow channel in the elastomer hollow profile being exposed either to positive pressure or negative pressure. In the case of the novel, flow-deflecting fairing part (1) provision is made for the elastomer hollow profile (3) to be arranged in such a manner on that side of the shell (2) of the fairing part which faces away from the flow that the deformation zone in a head region (24) of the elastomer hollow profile, which deformation zone is required for the pivoting of the formed-on flow-deflecting limb (7), remains covered on the side facing the flow (12) by an associated portion of the shell (2) of the fairing part. This measure prevents damage to the comparatively soft deformation region and prevents the bending and buckling lines formed there from being visible from the outside.
