The invention relates to a chemical safety hose, comprising an inner layer (1) of plastic and/or elastomeric material, a first and second embedded reinforcement system (2, 4) and an outer layer (5) of elastomeric material. The essential feature of this invention is that on the side facing the inner layer (1) there is a reinforcement system (2) with low elongation and on the side facing the outer layer (5) there is a reinforcement system (4) with high elongation, a spiral embedded in elastomeric polymer, in particular a steel spiral (3), being located between the two reinforcement systems (2, 4). <IMAGE>
