<p>PURPOSE:The title compact device capable of reducing the volume of wastes containing synthetic high polymers into massive materials, comprising a horizontal double rotating cylinder to heat and agitate the wastes together with granular or particulate inorganic materials. CONSTITUTION:Mixtures of wastes containing synthetic high polymers and grauular or particulate inorganic materials are fed from the hopper 7 through the slant plate 10 to the inner cylinder 18, then heated and solftened by the burner 9, and the volume is reducted. The mixures are transferred by the agitating blade 20 and partition plate 19 to discharge granules from the small-diameter part 18a to the outer cylinder 14. Wastes containing synthetic high polymers fed from the hopper 2 separately are mixed with the granules described above, granulated and formed into massive materials, then discharged from the outlet 11.</p> |
