<p>PURPOSE:The title compact device capable of reducing the volume of wastes containing synthetic high polymers into massive materials, comprising a horizontal rotating cylinder to screen small particles by tumbling actions with a screen. CONSTITUTION:Mixtures of wastes containing synthetic high polymers and grauular or paritulate inorganic materials are fed from the hopper 1 to the rotating inner cylinder 5, and transferred while being granulated under heating with the burner 8 to pass small particles through the screen part 14 to the rotating outer cylinder 4. Large-diameter particles are transferred and discharged from the outlet 12. The separated small particles are conveyed by the screw 17 to the bucket 16, lifted and returned to the inner cylinder 5.</p> |
