Composition containing a secondary amine and use of primary amines as inhibitors for teh formation of N-nitrosamines

An aq. compsn. contg. a sec. amine (A) also contains one or more prim. amines (I) of formulae NH2-CH2-CHOH-CH2NH2 (Ia), CH2X1-CH2X2-CH2NH2 (Ib) and/or GNH2 (Ic) in wt. ratio (I):A of 5:1 - 1:100, pref. 2:1 - 1:20. (X1=X2 = H or OH, provided at least one is OH; G = saccharide residue). Also claimed is the use of (I) to inhibit the formation of N-nitrosamines.
