Heating system for a bus

The invention relates to a heating system for a bus (coach) having a drive unit fed with gas from a tank and having a heating device which can be operated with the same gas independently of the drive unit. Unlike in known heating systems, in which use has been made either of converted household burners or smaller gas heating devices with parallel connection of batteries, the heating device according to the invention is distinguished in that because all of the essential units required for operation of the burner are mounted on a flange plate arranged approximately in the centre of the heating device, it is extremely simple to assemble and maintain, and, in addition, it has a high heating capacity yet is of compact overall dimensions.
