The invention relates to a coin-operated gaming machine, especially video-screen gaming machine, with functional and operating elements which are arranged on the front side of the housing and are combined at least partially in a functional block and via which the game progress can be controlled and influenced. The object of the invention is to propose a coin-operated gaming machine which, without an appreciable variation in its external dimensions, allows an individual increase in the distance between the player and gaming machine and which nevertheless can be used in conventional machine stands or as a wall-mounted machine. At the same time, by the variation in distance, the setting of different switching states is to be capable of being carried out. The solution according to the invention is characterised in that the functional and operating elements arranged on the front side of the housing of the gaming machine and combined at least partially in a functional block are designed so as to be variable in position by means of a guide, so that a sufficiently large distance can be set between the gaming maching and functional block.
