Acids contg. solid materials, are handled and particulary those in polishing baths for lead-crystalline or other forms of glass. The acid containing the solids is drawn out of the bath during the processing. The acid is then separated by mechanical flow into acid and viscous material, the latter material being collected to deposit the solids. The solids-free acid is then fed back into the bath. |
