PURPOSE:To permit the repetition of polishing of a cutting edge in several times and permit heavy cutting by making the tip installed onto a cutter longer in the outer peripheral direction. CONSTITUTION:In the installation of a twisted tip 3 for a body 1, the dimension (b) in the direction of revolution of the outer periphery on the section perpendicular to the revolution shaft O of a tool is made longer than the dimension (a) in the radial direction connecting a tool revolution shaft O with the cutting edge. The twisted tip 3 used is twisted along the back surface of a cutter, and jointed with the steel body 1. Since, when the cutting edge is worn-out, regeneration through polishing from the rake face side on the back of the cutting edge, the number of times of use can be increased markedly. |
