PURPOSE:To prevent the seizure of a metallic die surface by attaching a copper pipe for a release agent, which has been connected to an air discharge piping, to a fixed die plate surface, and applying a water droplet-shaped release agent between narrow and small surfaces of the metallic die. CONSTITUTION:A copper pipe 22 is attached to a fixed die plate 21 surface, and also its discharge tip 23 is placed so as to be turned to a runner 11 of a gate die 13. Also, the tip part 23 is provided on a place of a height position where it does not interfere with a metallic die at the time of clamping of a die casting machine. The other end of the pipe 22 is connected to a piping joint 24, and connected to an air piping 26 and a release agent piping 25 through check valves 28, 27, respectively. In an opening state of the metallic die, a discharge pump 29 is operated and pumps up the release agent, also a compressed air is fed from a compressor 32, and a mixture of the release agent and air is blown out of the discharge tip 23. According to this method, the release agent can be supplied to a narrow space between the metallic dies, therefore, a seizure of the metallic die is prevented. |
