The use of 7-amino-L-glycero-L-gulo-2,6-anhydro-7-deoxyheptonic acid and 2-benzoxycarbonylamino-O<1>-methyl-2-deoxy- beta -glucopyranuronic acid, their derivatives and the enantiomeric compounds for incorporation and for preparation into pharmacologically active peptide hormones.
