Compartment rail vehicle is equipped with longitudinal middle corridor, which is lowered in comparison with floor of vehicle and is in the same level as platforms of vehicle. Rail vehicle is equipped with driving boggie (3) with driving wheel sets, which are driven by minimum one tractive engine (4a, 4b) connected with, driving wheel sets gear devices (5,5a) containing the joint shafts and gearboxes for gear to slow working. Tractive motors (4a, 4b) are located under car box (1) laterally from its middle part and from the part of winding of driving boggie (3). Tractive motor (4b) can be located also in corner of car box (1) in vertical position. Advantageous is equipping of driving boggie (3) with two diagonally arranged tractive motors (4a, 4b), which driving shafts are parallel with axis of driving wheel sets.
