The method detects the states of a vending machine before making sale enable displying lamp "on", and gives the user an advantage of good usage. The device includes a central controller(12) which controls the input/output control of a vending machine and detects the states of a selection button, a coin sorting unit(2) which calculates coin quantities, a data display / input unit(13) which displays the states of the selection button and specifies the sale cost, and a data memory uint(14) which saves the data state of the central controller(12) under a breakdown.
