<p>A temporary road sign comprises a sign-bearing plate 2 having two ground-engaging legs 7, 8, a further ground engaging leg 4 pivotally connected to an upper portion of the sign-bearing plate, and an apertured support plate 3 pivotally connected to a lower portion of the sign-bearing plate and having an aperture 24 extending therethrough through which the further ground-engaging leg extends, whereby, in a storage position, the storage plate and the further ground-engaging leg may be folded substantially flat with the sign-bearing plate, and in an erected condition, the further ground-engaging leg may be inclined at an angle so as to support the sign-bearing plate in a tilted position with the apertured support plate extending substantially horizontally so as to support the further ground-engaging leg at the required inclination.</p> |
