<p>A pipe or cable ducting (10) is formed from a plurality of identical sections (12). Each section is semi-tubular and the ends of adjacent sections fit together by means of a spigot (20) and socket (22). Projections (28) and corresponding recesses (30) on the diametrically opposed exposed fiat edges (26) of each section (12) enable identical sections (12) to be connected over the open section, thereby forming the tubular ducting (10) for protecting a pipe or cable. Each section (12) is identical, which reduces production costs and enables sections (12) to be removed to facilitate subsequent access to the protected pipe or cable. <IMAGE></p> |
