PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a seat pad caused by the tension of a cover and to enhance and stabilize the quality of the seat pad by integrally attaching polyester cotton subjected to half needle punching and impregnated with urethane to be enhanced in hardness to the side part of the seat pad. CONSTITUTION:A seat pad B has side parts 3 protruding in predetermined height on both sides of the central part thereof and polyester cotton subjected to half needle punching and impregnated with urethane to be enhanced in hardness is used as each of the reinforcing materials 3 having high hardness arranged to the external ends of the side parts 2. By this structure, even when a cover material is applied to the surface of the seat pad B under high tension, the seat pad B is prevented from being overcome with tension to deform.
