PURPOSE:To provide a medical material which is utilized for arithmetic organs, artificial internal organs, wound cover materials, wound supply material, wound healing materials, fusion preventive materials, etc., has excellent bioaffinity, tissue compatibility, mechanism strength and particularly suture characteristic and is low in antigenicity, and does not peel collagen-like films. CONSTITUTION:This medical material is formed by holding two sheets of the collagen-like films across a meshed intermediate material of an average pore size 100 to 2000mum and bonding these films and the material to each other with an adhesive to fix the films and the material integrally. The medical material is produced by laminating two sheets of the collagen-like films on both sides of the meshed intermediate material via the adhesive, holding the films under a reduced pressure to tightly bond two sheets of the collagen-like films, then subjecting the films to a cross-linking treatment. Further, the collagen-like films may be subjected to a succinylation treatment according to purposes. |
