PURPOSE:To make it possible to brighten the front visual field of car drivers so that they may confirm in an earlier stage under what conditions the road surfaces are or the like by reflecting or refracting the light of front lamps of running cars ahead in the running direction at night with mirror surface boards. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of mirror surface boards 2 are installed to the side edges of a vehicle running road 1 or along a central separator with a specified spacings. The mirror surface boards are installed substantially in parallel and vertical to the road 1. As occasion demands, they are slanted downward to the road. The mirror surface boards may be replaced with transparent prisms. In that case, a ridge line which forms a cross-section triangle-shaped vertical angle of the transparent prisms is positioned in the vertical direction and what is more, placed on the opposite side to the road. The light of front lamps of running vehicles 3 can be reflected or refracted ahead in the running direction with the mirror surface boards 2 or the transparent prisms. This construction makes it possible to brighten the front visual fields of drivers in any place even where no illumination lamp is provided. |
