PURPOSE:To improve the yield of a coating material and eliminate the necessity of the blower process by forming the holes and clearances on curling sections formed on four sides of a filter section and recovering the unnecessary coating material. CONSTITUTION:Curling sections 2 are formed on the four sides of a filter section 1 to which fats and oils in soot adhere, and a plurality of holes 3 are formed on the curling sections 2, while spaces 4 are formed on the corners of the curling sections 2. An unnecessary coating material stored in the curling sections 2 is drained from the holes 3 and the spaces 4 and recovered by the above arrangement when the filter is inserted into a Teflon coating material of fluid state and drawn up for the purpose of applying the coating material to the filter so as to make the cleaning of the filter easy. As described above, the unnecessary coating material applied to the filter for a range hood or the like can be recovered, which eliminates the waste of the coating material and also the necessity of recovering the coating material by using the blower process as an aftertreatment. |
