PROCESS FOR FIXING DENTURE

PURPOSE:To enhance the adhesion between a bicomponent prosthetic material having low odor, low stimulation and low heat and those to be fixed which is made of a polymethacrylic acid resin (PMMA) denture or a sulfonic resin (PSF) denture by using (meta-)acrylic ester with two and more functional groups as a pretreatment agent. CONSTITUTION:A molding panel made of PMMA denture material or a molding panel made of PSF denture material is cut and soaked in a 37 deg.C water for 60 hours and then the surface is polished. Several types of (meta-)acrylic ester with two and more functional groups used as a pretreatment agent is applied to the surface 5 to be adhered uniformly. A plastic ring 3 is filled with a ground bicomponent prosthetic material 6 and a metal hook 7 is inserted therein before the bicomponent prosthetic material 6 is cured and fixed therein. Ten minutes later, the material 6 is soaked in a 37 deg.C water and is taken out in 24 hours. Thus, the adhesion enough to adhere a polysulfonic resin denture is obtained.
