PURPOSE:To obtain acrylic fiber having antibacterial and antifungal activities of high durability. CONSTITUTION:The fiber having pick-ups of the antibacterial agent (A) and the antifungal agent (B) satisfying the relationship (1) and (2) and less than 50% total extraction rates of (A) and (B) in a good solvent for (A) and (B) is treated with an aqueous dispersion containing 3,4,4'-trichlorocarbanilide as (A) and a hydroxybenzoic ester as (B), a specific affinity accelerator and a nonionic surfactant where a and b are concentrations of (A) and (B) in wt.% in fibers, respectively. 0.05wt.%<=a+b<=5.0wt.% (1). 0.3<=a/b<=1.0 (2). |
