PURPOSE:To use a paraboloidal reflection mirror as a converging optical system by measuring a shape at the section of the optical axis of a laser beam reflected by the paraboloidal reflection mirror, and adjusting the misalignment of the reflection mirror. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal rack 6 is freely, vertically and movably provided over a revolving rotary plate 3, and an arm 8 rotating in its arbitrary position, is provided. A slit mask 10 is provided at the tip part of the arm 8, a reflection mirror 11 is provided under the slit mask 10, and light detectors 12 are provided at the edge of the horizontal rack 6, opposing each other. A mirror adjustment device is inserted in the optical axis of the laser beam so that the center line becomes a straight line on a slit by properly selecting the rotation ratio of the rotation of the arm 8 and the revolution of the rotary plate 3, and the sectional shape of the laser beam, is measured. |
