FEED FOR PET AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare a pet feed composed mainly of casein and having a beef jerky-like texture, low water content and soft palatability. CONSTITUTION:A composition composed of 100 pts.wt. of casein, 1-20 pts.wt. of an alkaline salt free from polyvalent cation, 2-20 pts.wt. of a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester and 5-30 pts.wt. of a polyhydric alcohol is kneaded after or while adjusting the water-content to 10-40wt.% and extrusion-molded to a desired form at 50-100 deg.C under a pressure of 5-30kg/cm<2>.
