PURPOSE:To obtain Mn-Zn ferrite hardly causing breaking such as cracking or chipping at the time of automatic assembling or precision working and capable of considerably reducing power loss in a high magnetic field as a transformer material for a switching power source whose driving frequency is about 100kHz as compared with the conventional material. CONSTITUTION:This Mn-Zn ferrite has a compsn. contg. 51.5-54.5mol% Fe2O3, 30-40mol% MnO and 6-18mol% ZnO as basic components and further contg. 0.02-0.2wt.% (expressed in terms of CaO) calcium oxide, 0.005-0.4wt.% (expressed in terms of GeO2) germanium oxide and 0.005-0.2wt.% (expressed in terms of Sb2O3) antimony oxide as subsidiary components. |
