<p>PURPOSE:To reduce mounting cost to fix a nut to a reinforcing zinc-plated metal pipe which is an inner core of a horizontal member for a plastic-made imitation wooden fence and increase the mechanical strength of joint units as well. CONSTITUTION:A ring nut 2 is inserted into a reinforcing metal pipe 1 which serves as an inner core of an imitation wooden fence horizontal member which applies pressure to the outer peripheral surface of the metal pipe which corresponds to a ring-shaped groove 3 of the nut, thereby fixing as a caulking 5. Therefore, this construction makes it possible to eliminate the need for zinc removable work, such as welding and hence reduce cost and increase more favorably the mechanical strength of fixed parts compared with a spot welding method.</p> |
