<p>PURPOSE:To level off power consumption and to drastically reduce operating cost by easily producing compressed air of low pressure and supplying it for aeration and also utilizing compressed air of high pressure for driving the decompression part of an expansion turbine and recovering electric power. CONSTITUTION:When excess electric power in the nighttime is utilized to store compressed air and it is utilized as air for aeration of sewage treatment in the daytime, compressed air is previously heated and then passed through an expansion turbine being a decompression part 10 and electric power is recovered. Thereafter compressed air is decompressed and supplied to an aeration tank 4.</p> |
