PURPOSE:To eliminate line-variation that is easily generated in the boundary section of the printed portion printed by adjacent nozzles in a multi-nozzle ink jet printer and to obtain the highly uniform printing. CONSTITUTION:A recording method of a multi-nozzle ink jet recorder is disclosed hereinafter. The widths of printable areas of nozzles 2 are overlapped such that the overlapping width (We) is 0.5mm or more in the adjacent nozzles 2, 2. Dot patterns to be printed by the adjacent nozzles are varied in the printing direction in the overlapping width (We) by dividing in two alternately and the repeating cycle L of the variation is 0.5 to 8 times of the overlapping width (We). |
