A rotary mineral crusher of a kind where material is thrown from a rotor after having migrated across a retained bed of material retained by a wear tip. The invention recognises the benefit of shaping the retained bed of material to a trough-like form so that a greater volume of material being thrown from the bed of the rotor (after migration over the wear tip) moves along that material defined surface with only some of the thrown material being able to contact the wear tip. |
