The subject of the invention is a method for manufacturing a shoe sole, by moulding, according to which an insert (1) is arranged inside a mould having the shape of the sole with its heel forming a single entity with it. According to the invention, the insert is secured to the moulding material of the sole by means of attaching members (2) formed in a single piece with the insert (1), the said attaching members (2) projecting from the edges of the insert contiguous with the top or bottom part of the heel in the insert (1)/injected material (3) join area, being arranged spaced from the wall of the moulding cavity in order to provide, between the wall (9) of the moulding cavity and the said attaching member (2), a space (8) for receiving the injected material.
