Device and method for outdoor display of a temporary message on a long-term message by non-permanent assembly of the display and of a magnetic support without the use of glue in an outdoor environment. The invention relates to a device and method making it possible to display a temporary message on a long-term message, without impairing the latter and without using glue in an outdoor environment. The device includes a standard support made of metal sheets and of magnetic plates. The metal sheets serve as a support for the long-term message by painting or application of adhesives. The magnetic plates serve as a support for the temporary message. Fixing the displays on the magnetic plates is done by bonding and drying in the workshop using a special glue, removal by soaking in an aqueous solution. The temporary message can thus be applied over all or part of the long-term message without risking impairing the latter, and getting round the problems related to the use of glue outdoors. The device and the method are particularly intended for outdoor advertising.
