摘要 A diagnostic system for a multiple cylinder internal combustion engine includes a digital engine analyzer having an oscilloscope display controlled by microprocessors operating under menu-driven stored program control. A clamp-type, Hall-effect pickup probe non-invasively detects a current flowing through a conductor in the engine to generate a current detection signal which is fed to an amplifier adapter which is, in turn, coupled to an input terminal of the analyzer. The analyzer processes the amplified signal to produce a waveform display signal which is displayed on the oscilloscope in either of two different display formats. Another input lead of the analyzer senses the number 1 cylinder firing and the analyzer synchronizes the waveform display signal to the number 1 cylinder signal.
