摘要 A device for determining the respective direction (A, B) of movement of a part (1) which can move in two opposite directions contains magnetic asymmetries (5, 6) on said part, and a fixed sensor (7) assigned to said asymmetries. The asymmetries (5, 6) are constructed with two different dimensions in the direction (A, B) of movement of the part (1) in alternating sequence such that needle pulses (spikes) obtained from the output signals of the sensor (7) by differentiation have the special feature that only the positive or the negative needle pulses succeed one another at the same intervals, as a function of the direction of movement (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
