摘要 On operation of TRANSMIT on lathes a tool is moved along a machining path which runs in a plane lying perpendicularly with respect to the rotational axis. To determine the maximum constant feed along this path the direction of the path is taken into consideration, in addition to the distance of the path from the rotational axis, by the path speed being broken down into the radial and the tangential components. The maximum feed is set to the value at which at least one of the components is at its predetermined maximum value. The other component then generally does not reach its maximum value. The invention is used in numerically controlled lathes. <IMAGE>
