<p>The sleeve consists of a thermoplastic material containing an electric heating conductor. Its inside surface is applied to the outside of a plastic tube and a section of greater diameter in which the heating conductor is inserted consisting of a plastic strip to which is applied a heating wire whose windings are separated from one another, filling the space between the two. The device ensures a sound weld and the parts are readily fabricated.</p> |
