<p>Removable demineralization cartridge (1) for insertion in the water system of an appliance. Said cartridge comprises a chamber (8) located between a liquid inlet (5) and outlet (6), and containing a powder demineralization resin (7). According to the invention, the chamber (8) contains means (10) for offseting the variations in the volume of the resin (7). Said means are capable of either expanding to offset a reduction in the volume of the resin, or contracting to absorb an increase in the volume of said resin. The removable cartridge is useful for demineralizing water used in irons.</p> |
