An anti-break-in window has a window frame and a window sash which is fitted, by means of one or more safety fittings, pivotably and/or tiltably on the frame. The window sash has a security glazing. A seal is arranged between the frame and the sash. The frame and the sash comprise elements (10, 12, 14) consisting of short-fibre solid wood.
