An induction-heated cooking surface comprising at least one inductor (10) lying below a work top in which it defines a heat source (11), and an HF-current generator supplying said inductor. The inductor is mounted under the cooking surface's heat source by means of devices (12, 17, 18) which allow it to move in a direction parallel thereto. Said cooking surface is particularly designed for commercial use.
