<p>The invention relates to a method of knitting a two-plane type wrap knitted fabric which comprises two opposed foundation clothes and connection fibers for connecting and knitting the clothes, and a knitting structure. In particular, a two-plane type wrap knitted fabric is obtained, of which a knitting structure enables positive raising of foundation yarns, which are on a back knitting side, among yarns, which constitute the foundation clothes, without being influenced by the connection fibers when raising outer sides of the foundation clothes of the two-plane type warp knitted fabric, that is, the back knitting side. Therefore, at least one of foundation clothes (60) is constituted by a combination of foundation yarns of at least two kinds of knitting compositions such that a direction, in which the other foundation yarns (11) except for at least one kind of foundation yarns in the foundation cloth composition overlap, is opposite to a direction, in which said excluded foundation yarns (12) and the connection fibers (14) overlap. Knitting is performed by setting a supply ratio of said other foundation yarns at overfeed, so that needle loops (11a) of said other foundation yarns are expanded outward. Accordingly, it is possible to raise the needle loops (11a) of the expanded foundation yarns without being affected by the connection fibers.</p> |
