<p>This invention aims at measuring a true distribution of radionuclides at each portion of a sample. The density of each portion of the sample is measured by measuring the dose of ionizing radiation passing through a sample from a radionuclide which emits the same quantity of ionizing radiation for density measurement to each portion of the sample. At the same time the ionizing radiation dose emitted from the radionuclide is measured. A self absorption ration corresponding to the density of this radiation dose is corrected to determine the quantity of the radionuclide in the sample.</p> |
