<p>A device for monitoring the ageing of coolant fluids in heat exchanging circuits. The device includes a member (4) contacting the liquid to be monitored, an electrical member (51) separated from the liquid-contacting element (4) by an insulating space (6) containing a fluid at a given pressure, said electrical element responding to the degree of corrosion of the liquid-contacting element, and an alarm (8) responding to a change in the signal from the electrical element. Said liquid-contacting element consists of at least one plate (41) made of a material which is present elsewhere in the circuit and contacts said fluid (3) therein, and said electrical element consists of an element made of a piezoelectric material with a frequency that varies depending on changes in the pressure in the insulating space (6).</p> |
